Tacos El Tio review

Written for The Argo by Matthew Cavallo

New to the Galloway area? Looking for a night out with some friends that’s not too far? Tacos El Tio might be the perfect place for you!

Having just moved to Stockton from Jackson, NJ, I had no idea what restaurants in the area were good. However, I went to a restaurant last Friday that I would definitely recommend: Tacos El Tio in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. At my Aunt’s suggestion, I met her there for dinner after a long day at my internship. Man, am I glad I did! Being that it was a Friday night, there was a little bit of a wait to get a table. It was not long at all, and they use a website where you can watch your place in line and get a notification that your table is ready.

Upon being seated, we were immediately served some delicious chips and dip to snack on. Service was prompt and the waitress was very nice. The menu had so much to choose from, and I decided on the grilled shrimp tacos. They came with sliced avocado, lettuce, red onion, and an amazing sauce on top. My Aunt got the grilled shrimp and spinach quesadilla, which also looked amazing. So all in all I give this experience a 9/10. The food was amazing, the restaurant was very nice, the service was prompt and courteous, plus it wasn’t too expensive!
