On Friday, April 21, the Stockton Environmental Club partnered with Stockton Action Volunteers for the Environment organization (S.A.V.E.) to host the annual ECO Fest, celebrating and moving towards a greener future on the eve of the official 2023 Earth Day celebration.

During the event, there were stations for many activities like arts and crafts, succulents for sale, and a rock climbing wall. Additionally, refreshments were provided at the event.

Other events included Canoe sessions in Lake Fred, hiking trails, and a dunk tank; President of the Environmental Club Sophia Bradach was the unfortunate dunk tank victim for the event. Bradach volunteered to be dunked to raise money to plant new trees. Participants paid $2 for one toss and $5 for three.

The Environmental Club hopes to be able to host this event and partner with S.A.V.E next year and in the years to come. If you are interested in joining the club or want to know more about the Stockton Environmental Club, please check out their page on OspreyHub, or @stocktonenvIclub on Instagram for future events and updates.
