On November 12th at 11:00 a.m., the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams battled it out with other regional teams like Widener University, The College of New Jersey, and Rowan University at the Metro Regionals held at Desales University.

The women’s team was ranked 4th before the start of the Metro Regionals and placed 3rd overall after the event. This 3rd place ranking then qualified the women’s team to compete in the NCAA championship meet, held next Saturday in Lansing, Michigan.

The Men’s team did not qualify for the NCAA championship, placing 8th out of the 25 teams in attendance. They ended the season on a great note, placing top ten four times out of their six meets.

The NCAA Cross Country championship will be live on NCAA.com. All of the top five teams in each region will be fighting for the championship title next week, on Saturday, November 19th.
