The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) will be hosting the first general-interest meeting of the semester on February 17 at 2:30 p.m. in F-115 in the academic building to boost awareness of the public relations industry.
Attendees will learn about tips and tricks about being a Communications Studies major, the many aspects of the field of public relations, what the PRSSA is and the club projects for the semester. Other topics to be discussed include an external volunteer opportunity, what alumni of the Stockton Communications Department are doing now, and how to network with other students.
The PRSSA is ready to have a successful and fulfilling semester. According to Co-President Hannah Urbanowycz, “We have so many exciting meetings. I can’t wait to grow our club!”.
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) offers internships, scholarships and career opportunities as just a few member benefits. The main goal of the organization is to provide members with career advice and help the members explore the vast world of public relations that exists outside of Stockton’s campus.
