It was recently announced in a campus-wide email that Stockton will return to normal, pre-pandemic operations in Fall 2021. See the press release below:
Good Morning Stockton Community,
We are excited to share our plans for the Fall 2021 semester.
While the details are still evolving, based on projections for COVID-19 vaccine availability and access, along with actions taken by the University to assure a safe and healthy environment, we are pleased to announce Stockton is planning to open the Fall 2021 semester under normal capacities. This includes academic courses, housing, athletics, food service, student clubs and activities, transportation, computer and library services, etc.
All New Jersey colleges and universities, including Stockton, operate their campuses under guidelines set forth by the state Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE). As new information becomes available from OSHE, Stockton will update its plans to remain in compliance with state and federal health guidelines.
Stockton’s University Resilience Operations Committee (UROC), a collaborative team made up of students, faculty, and staff, continues to work with leaders from Student Senate, Faculty Senate, and the President’s Cabinet to help keep the University open and operating safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We know there are many questions about Stockton’s fall plans, and we will provide ongoing updates through the spring and summer. In the meantime, let’s all continue to practice safe habits in order to keep ourselves, our friends, and our loved ones safe and protected.
We look forward to seeing you in person this fall!
Soar safely, Ospreys!
