Stockton University softball kicks off their Spring 2022 season with a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 22 against Neumann University at 3 and 5 p.m. on the softball fields.
Students can come cheer on the Ospreys for free in hopes of a victory over the Knights, who they did not get to play last season due to COVID issues. Last year Stockton won their home opener game against Rutgers-Newark 7-0 and 5-2.
According to Nick Levecchia a student at Stockton, home openers are a great day to be an Osprey, “I love home opening day, it is a Spring sport so the games start around the time when the weather starts to warm up. And the game is here at Stockton so I can easily get to the field with no problem to cheer on our softball team, and it’s free!”
The Stockton Softball Home Page has the most up-to-date information on spectator policies and schedule changes.
