An academic year like no other, EVER.

Dear Editor,

As the Argo wraps up its publication schedule for this academic year, I wish to acknowledge the effort put forth by its staff under such extraordinary conditions.

The Argo has served Stockton University since 1971, providing printed newspapers for the campus community: That is, until the campus was closed in March 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

At that challenging time, the Argo board and the editorial staff decided to maintain its publishing schedule as a demonstration of public service to the community, and published its remaining spring 2020 editions in pdf format online.

In summer 2020, when the university announced the majority of fall 2020 classes would continue online, the Argo board and editorial staff worked toward producing an online template for publishing the newspaper in the fall semester. That, along with traditional social media promotion, has continued through the present.

We look forward to the Argo’s contributions next academic year as Stockton celebrates its 50^th year!
