If you are looking for some fun activities to get you in the autumn mood, R&J Farms is the perfect place for you! The farm is about a ten-minute drive from Stockton University’s campus and very affordable. The farm is very COVID-conscious, with multiple hand sanitizer stations and signs reminding customers about wearing masks over their nose and mouth.

The large area gives visitors plenty of space to roam around and offers a corn maze with a tractor ride, which brings you to a pumpkin patch. Corny riddles are posted inside the maze, and before entering, you receive a crossword puzzle and a pencil. Brainstorm with your friends, see if you can solve all of the riddles and get to the maze’s exit!

A relaxing tractor ride brings you around to the pumpkin patch, where you get to take your time roaming about to pick your own pumpkin. There are plenty of photo opportunities with little hay bails and signs that say “Pumpkins 4 Kisses” or “Pick Your Own.”

“I’m here on a Monday, and it’s not too busy, so I feel very comfortable walking around. Everyone is respectful and has their masks on! My favorite part has been picking my pumpkins. I can’t wait to carve and paint them!” Stockton freshman, Sophia Reitzler said.

Reitzler said the weather has been perfect for fall activities like a trip to the farm. “The weather is perfect! Sunny with a breeze, and it hasn’t gotten too cold yet.”

R&J Farm is open every day with varying hours. Check out their website http://www.randjfarm.com for more information! Have fun picking!
