The Stockton University women’s volleyball team (22–9) fell short in the NJAC Championship matchup against Kean University (29–5) on Saturday, November 15. The conference title match featured high energy and strong momentum swings as the Ospreys fought to extend their postseason run.

Stockton delivered a determined effort against the now 2025 NJAC champions, dropping the first two sets 25–15 and 25–11 before mounting a strong push in the third. That set became a true battle, featuring 10 ties and eight lead changes as both teams traded points with long rallies and aggressive swings.

The Ospreys were led offensively by Nicole Palmer with eight kills, followed by Kate Louer with six kills and four digs. Stockton’s competitive spark in the third set came from Palmer and Jalynn Grant, who helped the team build an impressive 20–15 lead. However, Kean responded with an 11–4 run, ultimately overtaking Stockton and closing the match with a 26–24 win in the final set.

Despite the tough loss, the Stockton University women’s volleyball team capped off a highly successful season. Their 22 victories mark the program’s highest win total in the last four years, demonstrating the team’s continued growth and resilience. The Ospreys also produced a remarkable 13-match winning streak in October and early November, showcasing their consistency and competitive strength throughout the season.

Four Stockton University volleyball players earned NJAC all-conference honors for the 2025 season. Kate Louer and Nicole Palmer were named to the NJAC First Team, while Rileigh Wilson and Regan Mendick received Honorable Mention. The group helped lead Stockton to a 22-9 record and an NJAC Tournament semifinal berth.

Louer, now a four-time honoree, leads Stockton in kills, hitting percentage, and points, ranking among the NJAC’s top hitters. Palmer earned her third straight First Team selection and remains one of the conference’s top offensive players.
