In an email sent out to the Stockton student body on April 17, the results of the 2025-26 Student Senate elections were announced by outgoing Senate President Andrea Sandoval.
Student Senate elections opened for voting on Tuesday, April 15 and continued until noon on Thursday. Students were able to vote for a new President, Vice President, Board of Trustees Student Alternate, and body of Senators via OspreyHub, and in the week leading up to the ballot, campaigns and voter encouragement dominated the campus.
“We hope you take the time to vote, as these students will represent you,” The 2024-25 Senate said in a Thursday email reminding students to use their voices.
The results came out at 2:30 p.m., with Sandoval writing, “[on] behalf of the Student Senate I would like to announce and congratulate the newly elected 2025-26 Student Senate.”
Ariel Graziano will step into the role of Student Senate President with Hunter Pico serving as Vice President and Najmah Laing acting as the Board of Trustees Student Trustee. Graziano previously served as the Public Relations Chair and received an Instagram endorsement from Sandoval at the start of the election season, while Pico in 2024-25 was a committee member of the Governmental Affairs committee.
The following names all will be serving the Stockton community as Senators: Aayushma Dhakal, Ahnjeles Maldonado, Alivia O’Neill, Arti Kapoor, Austin Eckert, Casey Conklin, Christian Wright, Conor Wasneuski, Dominic Eisele, Edwin “Eddie” Ulises Feria-Serna, Genesis Rodriguez, Guivenchiali Saint Jean, Jaala Howard, Jackson Heil, Jaedyn Thomson, Jesus Cabellos, Julia Kowal, Kaden Ryan, Lunasia Webb, Melanie Chin, Mia Torres, Nana Amma Otoo, Vlad Vasylyk, Zippi Abramson.
Student Senate will have their final public meeting of the semester on Tuesday, April 22 in the Galloway Campus Center’s Michael Jacobson Board of Trustee Room. Students are encouraged to join either in person or at the Zoom link here.
