ASA hosts the 11th annual Phoenix Night Market 

On Wednesday, April 9, the Asian Student Alliance (ASA) hosted its 11th Annual Phoenix Night Market at Stockton University. The event was held in the Campus Center Event Room from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., as it featured live performances, local vendors, and traditional foods that immersed the culture to all attendees. 

The event featured a diverse lineup of performers, including the ASA Band, ASA Dance, Take X, Tibetan Monks, The Dynasty Alliances, and more, each bringing their talent to the stage. From traditional rituals to cultural choreography, the performances captivated the audience with their precision, energy, and cultural richness, creating a celebration of Asian heritage.

“I had an amazing time at the Phoenix Night market as there were a lot of vendors, great food and boba, and amazing performances. It really gave you an appreciation for the culture,” a freshman attendee stated. The event’s variety drew people’s attention as along with the performances, as many participants added to the cultural atmosphere. Clothing and food vendors attended, including Boba Works, Nizam’s Food That Loves You, Ginza, and Opuho, and all vendors at the event provided culturally rich options. The energetic performances, traditional food, and overall atmosphere truly captivated attendees and were engaging and entertaining. 

“It was so fun! They had different vendors, food options, and clothing options. All aspects of the events enriched the culture and made the experience very entertaining,” said Olivia Sidoti, a first-time attendee. Guests tasted traditional food, browsed clothes, and saw diverse vendors while watching cultural performances. The event brought the community together to celebrate Asian culture in a fun and engaging way.
