Stockton’s Success Scholars kicked off Spring 2025 with a Q&A open to students interested in learning more about the peer mentoring program and how to prepare for the new semester. The Q&A took place via Zoom on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Hosted by Associate Director of Academic Achievements Program, Tom Itaas, the session began with an informational presentation of what to expect from the program for the upcoming semester. The session reviewed the “to-do list” for the program’s members, the Osprey Success Plan, and general program requirements.

Following the semester overview, the floor opened up for students to ask any questions they had about the program. Both current and prospective members of the program were able to attend, providing a space for support and insight into what to expect and prepare for as a Success Scholar.
The Success Scholars Program was founded to help students foster the best experience for themselves at Stockton University. Success Scholars aims to support students through their journey at Stockton to help them reach graduation by utilizing campus resources, hosting workshops, and working with peer mentors.
“The Student Scholars Program has helped me by providing recourses and workshops to help me excel in school,” stated Brian Wagner, a member of the Success Scholars Program. “I love the content provided, and it has become yet another tool to help me reach the highest level of success that I can. Since being in the program, I have earned eight ‘A’s’ and one ‘A-‘ which I am very proud of. I would recommend that any students thinking of joining the program should give it a try.”
