The Stockton Osprey Ball, held at Renault Winery

The Stockton Osprey Ball, hosted at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, was one of the many events that took place for University Weekend. Running from 8 to 11 p.m. on October 17, 2024, Stockton students, friends, and faculty filled the Vineyard Ballroom and enjoyed a night of fun. People could drive to the event, but if transportation was needed, Stockton offered a shuttle off the Galloway and Atlantic City Campus to the Winery.

The night was filled with food, music, and dancing. There was a buffet dinner with potato salad, cornbread, pulled pork, and much more. Dessert included blueberry cobbler and mini cheesecakes. Between meals and dancing, guests could enjoy various activities. There was a photo booth where people could take pictures with their friends and get a picture sent to their phone to remember the night.

When asked about the experience that the Osprey Ball offers, Junior Esmeralda Rivera stated, “The Osprey Ball was such a fun event that I am really glad that the school held for us. It was really fun to be dancing and having a great time with not only our friends but faculty and staff. It kind of brought all the generations of Stockton together in a way. The food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely love to go again next year. It is definitely worth it. I do hope the school does a better job of advertising the event as it should not be missed out on.”

This is just one perspective from all of the memories that were made that night. Students could be seen taking pictures all over the grounds of Renault Winery, especially in front of the barrel tree, with friends, and on the dance floor.
