On Thursday, September 19, 2024, Stockton held its annual Study Abroad Fair in the Campus Center. This fair hopes to inform students about the countless opportunities that they have to study abroad. Several different organizations like AIFS Abroad, Isa by WorldStrides, Lorenzo de’ Medici, and many more tabled at the afternoon’s event.

Each agency offered different opportunities to take while studying abroad, whether it is an internship or summer program. When abroad, students have the chance to choose whether they would like to travel for as little as one week or as long as twelve. There were dozens of countries to choose from such as Italy, France, Greece, Argentina, Japan, Australia, and more. There was also a table that was promoting a faculty-led trip to Greece in May, led by Professor Moscovici, who teaches Environmental Science and Geology.
Moscovici’s Spring 2024 course, GIS 4655 Greece: Geography, Culture & Tourism is a class that students can take upon special request. Students will learn about Greece and Greek culture throughout the semester and tour around the country at the end of the semester. It is important to note that applications to study abroad for the upcoming summer will be due in March, so students should be sure to look out for deadlines.
The deadline to apply for spring semester abroad is on October 1, while the fall semesters and summer program applications are due March 1. To learn more about studying abroad and how to apply, visit the Global Engagement page on the Stockton website.
