The Argo announces new leadership for the Fall 2024 Semester

The Argo is thrilled to announce the promotion of several talented individuals to key positions within the operation. These appointments signify a new chapter of leadership as the publication continues its legacy of excellence and several leaders including Editor-in-Chief Matt Cavallo, Assistant Editor/Sports co-columnist Brianna Barretta, Social Media Manager Courtney Bono, Senior Copyeditor Victoria Orlowski and Sports co-columnist Vincent Rapallo graduate from Stockton.

The following individuals will assume their respective roles in September of 2024:

Editor-in-Chief: Mary DeRose
Assistant Editor: Zuleika Rodriguez Garcia
Sports Columnist: Sarah Kropinack
Social Media Manager: Ryan Connelly
Senior Copyeditor: Charles Obirinanwa
Copyeditor: Jaedyn Thomson

Each member of the newly appointed team brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and creativity to their roles. Their contributions have already proven invaluable to The Argo’s mission of delivering journalism to the university community and beyond.

“The Argo has been my home since I transferred to Stockton in September of 2022. It was an absolute honor to serve as Editor-in-Chief this past semester and work with the team for the entirety of my time here at the university.” Editor-in-Chief Matt Cavallo said. “I have the utmost confidence in Mary and cannot wait to see her carry on The Argo’s 50+ year legacy. With her at the helm, plus Zuleika, Ryan, Charles, Jaedyn and Sarah, I think this staff will do amazing things next year.”
