On Thursday, February 29th 2024, at 4:30 p.m., students gathered at the Campus Center Coffeehouse for the anticipated “2nd Artist Reveal Party. Similar to the last reveal, SET raffled off a free ticket to one lucky student.

After announcing that there would be a surprise second artist just a few days prior, SET revealed the secret co-headliner to be the EDM group, Cash Cash.
Sharply at 5:00 pm, the banners displaying a photo of the group Cash Cash were dropped.
Cash Cash is a EDM group made up of three brothers from Roseland, New Jersey. They are most known for their song “Take Me Home” and generate over 3.6 million listeners on Spotify each month.
It’s no “secret” that the secret artist did not generate as much enthusiasm as our first lineup. On the official announcement Instagram post from SET, several users wrote comments expressing their dismay for the artist’s genre being hinted at electronic dance music.
Despite that, many are still excited. There were many students in attendance to celebrate the reveal. During cleanup, The Argo spoke to the Kate Bearden, President of SET to get her thoughts on the upcoming concert. Bearden stated that they chose to select a second artist because “…we found it in the budget and we wanted to make the most out of the student activities fee since everyone here is paying for the concert in one way or another.”
Ticket prices remain the same and can be purchased at the Campus Center Information Desk.
