Stockton University (7-2-5, 1-1-3 NJAC) extended its unbeaten streak to four (3-0-1) with a 0-0 tie against The College of New Jersey (3-9-2, 1-3-1) at G. Larry James Stadium on October 11 at 7:00 p.m.
This was a fantastic match between two teams that were synchronized and exuberant on the field, which made for an exciting match. Pressure was applied to both ends of the field by each side as they played a back-and-forth game. Each team got a couple of opportunities to score.

TCNJ had a good chance right before the end of the first half off a corner. The ball was headed right in the middle to goalkeeper Brady Bartletta (#00).
At halftime, the game was still 0-0 despite Stockton having more possession and hitting passes left and right while advancing through the middle of the field.
During the second half, more chances were created for Stockton, but no player could slot the ball into the back of the net. Both teams moving the ball consistently kept their formation and pressuring tight.
Stockton had a chance to score in the 65th minute but was unable to capitalize on the opportunity. The ball was intercepted by Aiden Hoenisch (#7), who ran it up the field past midfield before passing it off to Ernst Louisisus (#4) on the outside. Louisisus then crossed the ball into the penalty spot, but it stumbled out of bounds.
Joey Carbone (#11) almost had a chance immediately after in the 66th minute when he toed the ball narrowly on the right side of the goal.

Bartletta recorded the seventh shutout of his freshman season and matched TCNJ’s goalie Julian Franco with five saves in the game.
With only one minute remaining, Bartletta made an outstanding save on the low left bottom corner of the goal, extending Stockton’s unbeaten run to four games and keeping the final score at 0-0.
