In an impressive display of skill and determination, Stockton University’s soccer team continued their undefeated streak, now standing at an impressive 12 games for the season. The Ospreys faced off against King’s College (PA) and emerged victorious with a final score of 3-1. The first half saw a solid effort from the Monarchs, who managed to secure an early goal and maintain a one-goal lead at halftime.
However, the Ospreys came alive in the second half, showcasing their offensive prowess. Freshman Katie Ambos (#3), with her second goal of the season, kicked off the scoring spree at 55:53, slotting the ball into the top right corner with a perfect assist from Emily Hauck (#16). Grace Tecce ( #13), a standout player from Jamison, PA, then made her mark with her first goal of the season in the 70th minute, extending the lead to 2-0 with another assist from Hauck.
Maintaining their attack, the Ospreys didn’t stop there. Just 3:01 later, freshman Megan Morris (#15) found the top right corner of the net after a corner kick from Tecce (#13), sealing the victory with an insurance goal and a 3-1 lead. The Ospreys’ defense stood firm in the remaining moments of the game, ensuring the two-goal victory. Goalkeeper Megan Brady (#99), a force to be reckoned with, displayed her prowess in the net, making critical saves and securing her second win of the season.
