On Tuesday, September 19, and Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Stockton University held its semestral Get Involved fair across the campus center and academic spine, the active clubs and organizations at Stockton University set up tables to promote their clubs.

With a plethora of multicultural organizations, humanities and science-based clubs, and sororities and fraternities on display, Stockton students had access to it all. This event provides ways for new and current students to interact with members of a number of clubs and become involved members of the Osprey community. The Argo caught up with Stockton students and asked them their thoughts about the event.
Hannah Parker, a member of the History Club, told The Argo that she “came in not knowing what to expect.” “We did a lot of preparation beforehand too. It’s not only a great way to get involved, but to discover interests and talk to people,” said Parker.
To get a better understanding of what some of Stockton’s clubs and organizations are all about, an Argo reporter talked to folks from a variety of groups, whose testimonies can be found below:
“Psych Club is open to all majors and it’s a great resource for all fields of psych,” Julianna Snodgrass of the Psychology Club said.
“Dance Team is a lot of fun and a great way to show spirit for Stockton. We also compete nationally, every January in Florida,” Stockton Dance Team member Chloe Casole told an Argo reporter.
Hayden McQuillan, the representative of Stockton Cares said that “Stockton Cares, located in F-107, receives requests from over 3,000 students across campus and can help students access resources such as social concerns, family concerns, mental health concerns, and food insecurity.”
The Argo also caught up with Kirina Sorabian, President of Tri Delta, she told our reporter that “Tri Delta has brought me so many friendships and it feels like home here. It’s a great way to get involved and helped me step out of my comfort zone. I’m proud of myself for joining and I love everyone in this chapter.”
“We get to come together and do a lot of inclusive events and trips. We are planning on funding a trip to Yankees Stadium to see the Yankees vs. the Diamondbacks,” Louis Geda and Cecilla Hidalgo of Los Latinos Unidos said.
As many students and club members have mentioned, the Get Involved Fair is a great opportunity for any student who seeks to expand their social circle, escape their comfort zone, or simply have a good time engaging with the community by participating in something that grabs their interest.
The entire list of student organizations can be found on Osprey Hub. However, the best way to know about the people who make these clubs possible is by talking with them.
