Stockton’s Field Hockey team continues to show their dominance throughout this season. In an intense matchup on Wednesday, Stockton University’s Ospreys went face-to-face against Moravian University.
The defining moment of the game arrived courtesy of the skilled sophomore back, Makayla Alessi, as she expertly netted the ball for her team. This marked Alessi’s first career goal, a milestone that not only contributed to the team’s success in this match but also showcased her immense promise and potential for her future on the team. At the 13:22-minute mark of an action-packed first quarter, the crowd was treated to a spectacle as the game-winning play unfolded from a penalty corner. The play was orchestrated with brilliance, culminating in a perfectly executed shot, all thanks to the exceptional assist by Ameera Bilgrami.
